But I made them anyway, and they look delicious! I don’t know if they are because I’m trying not to eat them. They’re going to cool a bit, and then I’m going to send them off to my roommate. I also have an appointment to have my brows waxed–ah, beauty, how you make us suffer–and I might go [...]

It is FRIDAY. And guess what? NEXT FRIDAY is a HOLIDAY.
Forgive the caps. I am a little excited! I slept in until 6am this morning and it felt sooooo good after four days of waking up at 5am. I’m a little sad that it’s going to be really warm this weekend, and I’m supposed to [...]
Damn you, knee!

It still hurts. I’m still icing it, and I had to walk rather than jog this morning at class. I can’t help but feel sad that I was all geared up to really work out, and now I have to half-ass it.
Anyway, I’m keeping hopeful that a few days of rest, ice, and stretching will [...]

I had my first “real” workout at bootcamp today, and it definitely was a workout! I nearly threw up during suicide sprints. I told my coworker that, but I was grinning, and she said, “What is wrong with you?” Mmm…hard workouts.
Except, and OMG this is going to suck so bad: I was fine. Perfectly fine. [...]

First off: the weather. What the hell, Seattle? It’s warm, overcast and humid here today. This is as close to Kansas City summer weather as I ever want to get out here in the Northwest. I am not digging this at all.
Second: carrying around shopping bags full of stuff from the farmer’s market and Trader [...]

If I actually pull off the schedule I have planned tomorrow, it’ll be a great start to the weekend. It includes: the farmer’s market, Trader Joe’s, the library, and maybe the bookstore (double books!).
I tried to find Honest Foods’ granola plank at PCC Markets tonight. I searched and searched…and didn’t find anything by Honest Foods. [...]
Hit with a bus

I wasn’t really. But I was hit with something as fun: a migraine. I just surfaced long enough to complain about it here, and now I plan on going to sleep.
Fun fact: my car is still parked by the park and ride. Migraines in the middle of the afternoon = taking local buses, not expresses. [...]

Well, I read Skinny Bitch. Actually, I ended up skimming most of it. It was annoying me too much to continue! There are some good tips, like not drinking soda.
But…
1. The language: Look, I swear a lot. Like a sailor, actually. I’m trying to cut down. But I find that profanity is most effective when [...]

Bam! It’s FRIDAY! If I were military-ish, I would yell something like “hoo-yah” or “hooyay” or whatever the hell it is military types yell out intermittently. Also, it is the FRIDAY AFTER FINALS. You better believe I am all atwitter at the thought of not having homework or work for an entire two days. Yeah, you [...]
